Donations to the Student Wellness & Food Insecurity Fund will support student physical, nutritional, financial, emotional and social wellness.
“Some days, just knowing that I can grab a quick bite to eat from the student resource room has been such a relief and honestly one program that shows that SIUSOM cares for the actual longitudinal well-being of students.”
Students who choose to pursue a post-baccalaureate level of education encounter a significant amount of both professional and personal stressors during their training. The SIU School of Medicine Student Wellness & Food Insecurity Fund will offer initiatives that promote physical, nutritional, financial, emotional and social wellness. We are raising funds to support the wellness of our learners through various outreach activities and a student-led food pantry. All contributions will go towards these endeavors and go far in demonstrating the value our institution places on our students’ well-being.
If you would like to donate physical items, please contact the SIUSOM Student Affairs Springfield Office directly at 217-545-2860 to ensure they are available for drop-off.
