Your gift supports the Division of Rheumatology provide comprehensive care to patients with arthritis and other musculoskeletal problems. In addition, we play an integral part in the teaching of students and residents.
Our team of experienced, board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologists diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases and autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, myositis, ankylosing spondylitis, scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, vasculitis and lupus. The division also trains residents and fellows who choose to advance their education within the field of rheumatology. By preparing our doctors-in-training for their careers as well as by advancing research within the field, the Division of Rheumatology helps to position SIU Medicine as a leader in rheumatology care.
